The new Merge with Another Person feature helps keep your Notebird database clean by identifying and combining duplicate profiles for the same individual. Over time, multiple records can appear due to name variations or new profiles being created instead of updating existing ones.
Once identified, you can merge profiles, choosing which information to keep, while carrying over notes, history, and linked records, ensuring all past activity remains intact.
Using this feature regularly keeps your People database accurate, organized, and easy to manage, reducing clutter and ensuring each record truly represents one individual.
Merging A Person's Profile
Click the person you wish to merge with another profile
Scroll down to the bottom and click "Merge With Another Person"
Click the top-right search bar and select the matching profile
Review both profiles and ensure all relevant info is checked (blue check mark)
After selecting everything, click "Preview Merged Profiles" to review
If everything looks correct, choose "Confirm Merge"
Don't Worry! The duplicate profile will be archived, while all notes, history, and linked records are preserved.
